Hi, we’re Karen and Tiffany. This intro video is where we share a little about who we are, our backgrounds, and what led us to start having these conversations out loud. We talk about how our work in psychology and energy healing overlaps, and why it felt important to speak honestly about how life actually feels, not just how we think it’s supposed to feel.
Life Made Easier is a podcast about emotional regulation, relationships, and the subtle things that shape everyday life. We explore energy intelligence alongside the nervous system and consciousness, drawing on lived experience and emerging science, and focus on what actually helps people feel more steady, connected, and supported. This episode is simply a chance to get to know us before listening to the rest of the conversations.

11. Trauma From an Energy Healing Lens
What if trauma isn’t only about what happened, but about what your body is still holding?
In this episode we talk about why past experiences can still affect us in the present. We discuss trauma as emotional energy stored in the body, not only from big, obvious events, but also from smaller, repeated experiences that were never fully processed or supported. This stored energy can show up as feeling triggered, stuck, self-critical, anxious, or unable to move on, even when life feels stable.
We offer a gentle, body-based understanding of trauma, and why pacing, safety, and the right kind of support matter.
9. What is this thing called Reiki and why do I care?

You may have heard the word Reiki, or you may be encountering it for the first time, but it’s often talked about in ways that don’t make it easy to understand.
In this episode we offer a clear, grounded introduction to Reiki, how it works, and why it can support relaxation and emotional balance.
We also discuss common misconceptions, the importance of good training, and how Reiki can sit alongside trauma-informed care as part of everyday self-care.
